KALISPELL, Mont.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–General Synfuels International, Inc. (“GSI” or the “Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly-traded Earth Search Science Inc. (“ESSI”), has appointed a distinguished Advisory Board of North American energy industry and environmental investment professionals in order to better position the company’s fund raising and deal-making opportunities with its new generation of patented extraction technology for oil shale (and oil sands).

Called “Omnishale”, this technology utilizes super-heated air to dramatically accelerate the start of the extraction flow of high quality oil and natural gas liquids from oil shale while creating a self-sustaining, closed loop which operates in an extremely cost-effective manner and with minimal environmental impact.

The Company is about to introduce to the capital markets Patriot’s Oil Shale Technology Fund, LLC. (“Patriot”) a R&D partnership formed for the purpose of funding Phase I of a commercially-scalable prototype production facility.
KALISPELL, MT — Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE) today announced its subsidiary company, General Synfuels…

KALISPELL, MT — Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE) today announced its subsidiary company, General Synfuels International (GSI) has formed Patriot’s Oil Shale Technology Fund L.P, a $10 million partnership of American capitalists, to complete funding of the Phase 1 construction of a full scale prototype oil shale plant under construction in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The goal of this research and development type partnership is to prove the patented “Omnishaleã” technology GSI has developed can recover large amounts of oil and gas products from American oil shale and oil sands in an inexpensive, economically viable and environmentally safe manner.

GSI has engaged a boutique investment bank, NBT Capital Partners LLC, and its Chairman/Founder Tobin Smith to lead the Fund. Mr. Smith, a noted financial analyst, states, “NBT Capital Partners was formed to help finance transformational American companies, like GSI, dedicated to extracting precious oil and gas reserves from the massively abundant oil shale and oil sands resources we have in America with an environmentally safe technology process. This fund will be an initial down-payment on an overall $50,000,000 equity/debt project finance program we are initiating to complete a full scale operational plant. Once we validate the production data of the Omnishaleã technology it is NBT Capital’s goal to assemble a series of high yield investment opportunities for maximum exposure and multi-plant production. This is a great opportunity for economic growth and job creation in the United States”.

An initial Private Placement of $2 million has been accepted by GSI/ESSI in funding related to the above project.

Fast-growing company opts to re-locate among research facilities and potential investors

LAKESIDE, Mont., July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ESSE – News) a technology company focused on the development of domestic, inland oil resources, has announced it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Boston, Massachusetts. The move comes amidst a recent surge of company activity, including its appointment of Luis Lugo as CEO, acquisition of General Synfuels Inc. (GSI), and engagement of Industrial Systems, Inc. (ISI) to design, fabricate and install the components of its patented oil shale gasification technology for a full-scale test.

Boston’s immediate access to venture capital investors and key financial markets served among several motives for the move East.

“Boston’s world-class research and learning institutions, as well as its proximity to other corporate entities in the technology sector, make it the ideal hub for our corporate operations,” said Lugo of the move. “In addition, our need to quickly build a team, including professionals in the areas of finance, science, logistics and product development makes Boston ideal for Earth Search,” he added.

While Earth Search will domicile its corporation in Boston, it will maintain a local field office in Delta, Colorado where ISI is currently producing crucial test components for Earth Search’s full-scale test of its patented gasification process. Dr. Ronald McQueen, inventor of the gasification process, will oversee field operations.

“ISI is well underway in the process to test our new technology,” said Larry Vance, Chairman of Earth Search. “Delta’s proximity to vast oil shale reserves also makes it a perfect fit for our plans to conduct our first full-scale test in the very near future.”

About Earth Search Sciences – http://www.earthsearch.com

Earth Search Sciences, Inc.’s [OTCBB: ESSE] revolutionary hyperspectral technology provides the ability to accurately read the chemical properties of surface substances from great altitudes and produce easily interpreted maps allowing the user to identify specific minerals and substances on the surface of the earth by their diagnostic reflectance patterns. Ultimately, this remote sensing capability identifies a greater number of exploration targets quickly and economically, monitors the environmental situation, and improves the probability of finding anomalies. Older, more conventional methods would take decades to cover the same area, and at a much greater cost. Within the realm of exploration, remote sensing does not replace the need for geological knowledge, geochemistry, geophysics, seismic, drilling, etc, which are some of the more conventional tools used for exploration. The application of Earth Search’s patented and IP-protected hyperspectral technology cuts across the commercial, medical and military spectra.

About Petro Probe – http://www.petroprobe.com

Petro Probe, Inc. is a private petroleum company using advanced technology in the search for and production of hydrocarbon products. The company was formed in 2000 as a majority-owned subsidiary of Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (http://www.earthsearch.com), a public company listed on the OTCBB exchange under OTCBB:ESSE. Petro Probe’s mandate is to identify and develop hydrocarbon properties utilizing Earth Search Science’s exploration programs, including the use of a new patented method to recover oil and gas within oil shale, tar sands and heavy oil that positions the company to become a significant presence in the oil shale and heavy oil industry. The company has established a clear path to grow and develop Earth Search Sciences and Petro Probe in the oil shale, tar sands and heavy crude market segments.

LAKESIDE, Mont., July 21/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ESSE – News)…

LAKESIDE, Mont., July 21/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ESSE – News) today announced the acquisition of General Synfuels International, Inc. (GSI) and its patented technology to recover hydrocarbons through an environmentally-conscientious gasification process.

GSI has agreed to the buyout involving an undisclosed amount of cash and shares. The acquisition enables key Earth Search subsidiary, Petro Probe, Inc., to establish a joint venture and commercial licensing program to develop domestic oil shale and other heavy oil resources. Petro Probe plans a full scale field test of this technology as early as fall 2008 and subsequent commercial development as early as 2009.

“We believe this technology is capable of producing a steady flow of crude oil and natural gas right in our backyard – with very minimal environmental impact,” said Luis F. Lugo, CEO of Earth Search.

Lugo said the acquisition positions Earth Search and Petro Probe for immediate growth in the oil shale and heavy oil industry, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of much-needed domestic energy resources using technology that is environmentally friendly, energy self-sustaining, and economically viable.

“This acquisition will enable imminent launch of a full field test,” said Dr. Ronald McQueen, President of GSI. “During the launch period, we will be able to fine tune the technology to quickly develop a commercial prototype applicable to oil shale and other domestic hydrocarbon resources.”

About Earth Search Sciences – www.earthsearch.com

About Petro Probe – www.petroprobe.com

Petro Probe, Inc. is a private petroleum company using advanced technology in the search for and production of hydrocarbon products. The company was formed in 2000 as a majority-owned subsidiary of Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (www.earthsearch.com), a public company listed on the OTCBB exchange under OTCBB:ESSE.

This news release includes forward-looking statements that involve a number of risks and uncertainties. The information reflects numerous assumptions as to industry performance, general business and economic conditions, regulatory and legal requirements, taxes and other matters, many of which are beyond the control of the company. Similarly, this information assumes certain future business decisions that are subject to change. There can be no assurance that the results predicted here will be realized. Actual results may vary from those represented, and those variations may be material.

LAKESIDE, Mont., July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ESSE –…

LAKESIDE, Mont., July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ESSE – News) today announced the appointment of Luis F. Lugo as the company’s CEO. Larry Vance, formerly chairman and CEO of Earth Search Sciences, will continue in his role as chairman of the board. Vance said Lugo’s appointment is a critical step in moving the company and its subsidiaries forward in the development and commercialization of its breakthrough technologies. Vance also cited Lugo’s experience with acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures as key to positioning Earth Search as a substantial presence in domestic heavy oil development and production.

“Luis Lugo has an impressive record of aiming high and consistently achieving goals,” said Vance. “His experience in securing investment will allow Earth Search and its key subsidiary — Petro Probe, Inc. — to begin practical testing of its technology and subsequent full-scale development of oil shale and other selected heavy oil reserves. We’re fortunate to have attracted him to the team and are thrilled to have him on board.”

Lugo brings substantial experience in oil gas and other process industries. He previously served as Director of Finance and Strategy for 3AG Distribution (Elf Aquitaine Oil Lubricants Venezuela) and was involved in securing capital investment and in developing the distribution system which helped the company achieve six percent of the Venezuelan lubricants market in its first three years of operations. Lugo also served as Engagement Manager of global chemicals and strategy practices for Arthur D. Little Management Consulting, and as Strategy Analyst for BP Amoco where he developed analytical and financial modeling and valuation of acquisition targets for Latin America, Europe and East Asia. Lugo holds an MBA in International Business Finance and an MA in International Economics from The George Washington University in Washington D.C.

Lugo cited Earth Search Science’s differentiating factors as a key element to his accepting a position with the company.

“Earth Search’s hyperspectral imaging capability has tremendous potential and significant environmental advantages over other technologies, as does Petro Probe’s patented technology to develop hydrocarbon products from oil shale,” said Lugo. “Virtually all the pieces have been assembled to enable environmentally-safe and efficient exploration of America’s vast heavy oil resources within the very near future.
Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE), a leading commercial provider of revolutionary hyperspectral remote sensing technology,…

Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE), a leading commercial provider of revolutionary hyperspectral remote sensing technology, today announced the completion of an independent economic study showing the hyperspectral market potential to be approximately $1 billion.

Dr. Joe Zamudio, a leading hyperspectral technology scientist, said Intellisense, Inc. found that PROBE 3 — the new third generation instrument design — is likely to surpass its leading edge predecessor PROBE 1 in all operating characteristics, including resolution, survey efficiency, data reliability, and substantial signal-to-noise reduction. Both designs were developed and are owned by Earth Search Sciences.

According to Larry F. Vance, Chairman, the PROBE 3 allows the company to move forward with the next stage of its strategic business plan.

“A key component of our strategy will be to focus our technology on the exploration, discovery and development of economic resources to build shareholder value,” said Vance. “We believe the PROBE 3 will allow Earth Search to compete with anyone in the market. As a result, and as this economic study indicates, we believe we now have the potential to achieve increased market share and the ability to develop our own discoveries in the oil, gas and mineral resource sector, ultimately building shareholder value.”
