Earth Search Sciences Inc. and Phoenix GeoExploration Inc. Sign Agreement to Explore 800,000 Acres of Potential Major Hydrocarbon-Bearing Property in South Dakota

September 19th, 2006

LAKESIDE, Mont.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 14, 2006–Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE – News) announced today the signing of a Letter of Intent with Phoenix GeoExploration Inc. to undertake airborne hyperspectral mapping over their SW Williston Basin Project, an area close to major oil discoveries. The LOI is based on Earth Search receiving a royalty in exchange for providing the hyperspectral survey.

The objectives of the hyperspectral survey are to look for oil seeps or alteration chimneys arising from leakage of hydrocarbons from oilfields associated with dolomitization (and increased porosity) in the Red River “B” and “C” horizons – which have hosted the nearby 200 million barrel Cedar Hills Field, the 40 million barrel Buffalo Field, the Medicine Pole Hills Field, the Horse Creek Field, and the Horse Creek South Field.

Larry Vance, CEO of Earth Search Sciences, stated, “The PROBE-1 hyperspectral instrument has proven its capability in surface exploration for signs of oil. There are a number of things our airborne data collection highlights, including being able to quickly map the geology of outcrop lithology and surface structure along with any seepages to identify good potential hydrocarbon prospects.”

President of Phoenix GeoExploration Inc., Dr. Bill Pelton, said, “The acreage we have rights for, is on trend with the excellent discoveries in contiguous properties. They share the same Ordovician carbonates and we believe the hyperspectral imagery may help identify key exploration targets.”

See the Earth Search website: http://www.earthsearch.com/ and the new Petro Probe, Inc. website, Earth Search’s subsidiary oil & gas company, at http://www.petroprobe.com for more information on the hyperspectral technology.

EARTH SEARCH SCIENCES INC. COMPLETES UNRESTRICTED LICENSE FOR PATENTED TECHNOLOGY TO RECOVER OIL & GAS FROM RICH COLORADO OIL SHALE WITH STRONG ALLIANCE

May 30th, 2006

LAKESIDE, MT – May 30, 2006–Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:ESSE) today confirmed that its subsidiary company Petro Probe, Inc. is preparing to commence construction of a plant to recover oil and gas products from the rich oil shale areas of the Piceance Basin region in Colorado. Agreements were finalized for an unrestricted license from inventor and patent holder General Synfuels International, Inc. Further Petro Probe has entered into a Letter of Intent for an oil shale site license and technology sharing with Phoenix Wyoming Inc. and Independent Energy Partners, both private companies.

The Petro Probe in-situ oil shale recovery system is based on a new gasification process that will operate underground in an environmentally acceptable manner. Each plant is portable and located on a 2 to 3 acre site that produces approximately $100 million of hydrocarbon products before depletion occurs, whereupon the plant is relocated. The prototype plant will take 6 months to construct.

Testing and environmental impact studies will be completed before the full capacity operation is commenced.

Representative of the new alliance and President of Phoenix Wyoming, Inc., Bill Pelton PhD, said, “We are excited about the potential of the oil shale business with Petro Probe, Inc. and look forward to a long term relationship which can also utilize the airborne hyperspectral remote sensing capabilities of parent, Earth Search Sciences to pinpoint the location of oil shale reflectance values on the surface”.

Larry Vance, CEO of Earth Search Sciences stated, “We believe the combination of partners that this alliance has, is right to fully exploit the oil shale market with a greater utilization of our assets and intellectual property”. The ability of our hyperspectral technology to monitor precise environmental impacts is an advantage in ensuring the oil shale processing is clean and unobtrusive. Details will be released soon on the plant location and information will be posted on a Petro Probe website”, he added.

Earth Search Sciences Continues to Develop Airborne Mineral Exploration Success

March 26th, 2006

LAKESIDE, Mont., Feb. 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) — Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTC BB:ESSE.OB – News)
announced that it has received a purchase order from El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. (OTC BB:ECPN.OB – News) of Scottsdale, AZ to fly an aerial hyperspectral survey over numerous mineral claims belonging to El Capitan.

The contract calls for ESSE to locate anomalies indicative of pathfinder minerals that will assist to define the geographical extent of ore discoveries previously established by drilling programs on the property. Hyperspectral surveying allows large areas of ground to be examined very quickly and accurately. The ground truthing and airborne surveys will be coordinated by Dr. Joe Zamudio of ESSE and Dr. Clyde Smith of El Capitan.

ESSE’s revolutionary hyperspectral imaging can measure a fine degree of spectral reflectance of solar energy from across the spectrum and allow the user to identify specific minerals and substances on the surface of the Earth by their diagnostic reflectance patterns. It has been successfully used by one of the world’s largest mining companies, Noranda Minerals, as an exploration tool.

The ESSI website features full details on the use of hyperspectral technology for mineral and hydrocarbon exploration ( http://www.earthsearch.com ) and Noranda’s success with it ( http://earthsearch.com/pdf/peshko.pdf ).
